U.S. Technical Team - William A. Dupont AIA

William A. Dupont, AIA, is the San Antonio Conservation Society Endowed Professor within the College of Architecture at The University of Texas at San Antonio.  Professor Dupont teaches advanced design studio and graduate seminars concerning historic preservation and is responsible for leadership and coordination of the historic preservation component of the architecture program. 

Previously, he served for 11 years as the architect for the National Trust Historic Sites and still works with the organization on various projects, including leadership of a U.S. technical team supporting preservation efforts at Museo Hemingway, Ernest Hemingway’s home in Cuba.  Professor Dupont serves on the Boards of US/ ICOMOS (International Council of Monuments and Sites), Villa Finale, Gemini Ink and Historic Green, and is chair of the San Antonio AIA Historic Resources Committee.
